The Q50 is Quamar’s response to customers’ requests for a compact and quiet on-demand coffee grinder. It is equipped with a user-friendly touchscreen display where you can program settings for single and double dose.

For precision and ease of use, the measuring unit can be adjusted electronically giving you 2 possible measurement options and grain size adjustment.

The Q50 comes in black and polished aluminum. With its design and industrial-grade mechanics, it is an ideal coffee grinder for coffee shops and restaurants.


Features of the Q50:

Grinding Adjustment:

  • Stepped – The adjustment dial is located underneath the hopper. The entire dial is numbered so you can remember your current grind setting easier. Turn clockwise for a coarser grind and counterclockwise for a finer grind.
  • Setting lock – A setting lock button keeps your current setting. Prevents users from accidentally altering it and spending time to find your correct setting again.

 
Grinding Burrs:

  • Flat burrs – Large size at 54 mm. The larger the size, the more of a grinding surface, resulting in faster production.
  • High rpm – Faster spinning rate at 1400 rpm. The higher the speed, the faster the production, which can increase efficiency and reduce wait times.
  • Easy access – Remove the bean hopper. Turn the grinding adjust to the coarser direction until the top assembly comes off. This will give you access to the burrs and the grinding chamber. The burrs themselves are held in with Allen key screws.

 
Electronic Controls:

  • Multiple dosing options – There are 3 dosing options. Single-dose, double dose, and manual dose.
  • Time-based grinding – You can adjust the time for each automatic dose up to 640 seconds max. Adjustments can be made by 0.05 second increments.
  • Power save mode – You can set the LCD display to dim after a certain time (from 1 minute to 999 minutes).
  • Burr replacement – You can set an alert for when your grinding burrs will need to be replaced (up to 200,000 doses or can turn off at 0 settings). The recommended setting is at 50,000.
  • BAR message – Customize your LCD display with a short message (ex. the current blend of beans in the hopper).
  • Brightness option – The brightness of the LCD display can be adjusted up or down to your comfort level.
  • Dosing count – This helps keep track of usage. Displays the total count (from 1st use), partial count (from the last reset), and missing count (the amount remaining until burr replacement alert).
  • Language option – A total of 8 languages available: Italian, English, German, French, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish.
  • Password protection – You can enable a password so other users cannot change your settings.


Bean Hopper:

  • Low profile – The total height of the grinder without the hopper is a little under 12″. The bean hopper adds another 4.5″ bringing the total height to approximately 16.5″. The total capacity is approximately 1 pound of whole coffee beans, about half the size of a standard kilo bag.
  • Set screw – Secures the hopper to the grinder. Serves as a reminder for users to quickly removing the hopper if it is filled with beans.
  • Fingerguard – Prevents users from “accidentally” putting their fingers in the grinding burrs.
  • Stopper – A door near the bottom of the hopper can be pushed in to close the opening. This allows you to remove the hopper with beans inside so you can easily change the beans. There will be some beans already passed in the burrs which will have to be ground out first before removing the hopper.


Portafilter Fork:

  • Ease of use – This allows you to rest your portafilter while grinding. Accommodates most portafilters. The clearance from the fork to the funnel is approximately 2.625″.
  • Removable – The fork can be removed if you wish to grind into a container. There are 2 Phillips screws that hold the fork in place. The clearance from the funnel is approximately 5″.

  • Tamper – A cheap plastic tamper. Could be used as a backup just in case you lose your current one.

Warranty

Almost all machines come with a free, 12-month manufacturer's warranty. Please contact us at 1-888-908-2875 if you have any questions regarding warranty for your specific machine.

The warranty covers manufacturer defects and does not cover general wear and tear (grinder burrs, plastic parts, filters, gaskets, etc). The warranty is voided by not using a proper water filter which may causing water or scale build-up damage to the machine. It is also voided by Acts of God (floods, fire, weather), using the product outside its intended use (for example, using home machines in a commercial setting or vice versa), and by not performing necessary maintenance, preventative maintenance, faulty installations, power surges or shortages, shipping damage, or external factors causing damage.

Repairs done outside of Cafe Last's service network violate the warranty, and Cafe Last will not be held responsible for any charges incurred.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. 

Damages must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. Many of our machines are tested before being shipped out, per the industry standard. Your order may have water leakage, fingerprints, and other signs of light usage due to testing. These do not count as damages and are not eligible for refunds. Additionally, these are not refurbished machines, unless otherwise noted.

Exchanges 

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

You will be responsible for the cost of returning the item, and need to provide a valid tracking number. Please reach out to us to see if an exchange is possible. 

Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Returns are up to the sole discretion of the manufacturer and Cafe Last.

To start a return, you can contact us at support@cafelast.com. If your return is accepted, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. Please note there is a 15-25% restocking fee plus all other charges incurred in the order process by us (such as freight to and from, service/installation, or any other costs that are similar) for all refunds depending on manufacturer.

If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
